Massimo Bistocchi joined us to share wine selections from Italy. We tasted through:

Alessandro 'Benede' Catarratto - Sicily, Italy
Catarratto has a close genetic relationship with Garganega (the Soave grape) and makes concentrated, refreshing white wines.

Rocca di Motegrossi 2015 - Chianti Classico, Italy
This bottle is adorned with Chianti Classico's mascot: the black rooster. And Rocca di Montegrossi represents Chianti well. This organic farm has been winning plenty of awards and leading the pack of Chianti Classico producers.

DiFilippo Sagrantino  - Montefalco, Umbria, Italy
In the past, Sagrantino was used to make sweet wines. Today, it makes some of the world's most powerful dry red wines. These wines can sleep in your cellar for decades, or enjoy them now with a steak dinner.

Vin Santo of Rocca di Montegrossi 2007 - Chianti Classico, Italy
Made from dried grapes, this extraordinary dessert wine is remarkable. Imagine how many drops of juice you could squeeze from a raisin, and then imagine how many bunches of grapes go into each small bottle of Vin Santo!
